Our team provides design, project management and interdisciplinary coordination services in close collaboration with all the engineering, construction, and jurisdictional project stakeholders. This includes full design document production and permit management process. We are knowledgeable about the functional cost and build-ability of our architectural design and are very focused on the appearance and environmental quality of our projects

We provide comprehensive, all-phase design and management services that include programming, conceptual design, permitting and professional certification. We take responsibility for functional and operational aspects of a project and ensures that these are communicated fully, accurately, and effectively to all design disciplines so that the complete project design is fully integrated and coordinated to maximize construction efficiency and minimize construction cost.

Design Build project delivery methodology is utilized to enable successful projects and we understand the most effective way to deliver design solutions is to engage directly with the owners and operators of the facility so that the true functional needs are always reflected in the solution. We take pride in our work and cohesively bring together a focus on the practical and cost-effective solutions with inspirational solutions to enhance our environment.

Larry Podhora

An architect with over thirty years’ experience, Larry brings with him professional knowledge, passion about design excellence, project management and team leadership.

With his extensive focus on the design of concrete tilt-up, steel, and long span wood frame buildings, Larry provides the knowledge and team leadership that brings success to consulting with municipal authorities, design specialists, client communications and public agencies in a broad range of project types and sizes.

His portfolio includes award winning architecture on projects bridging the spectrum of building types with a particular emphasis on efficient, high-performance, sustainable and cost effective building solutions. High rise, mid-rise and custom residential projects are of particular interest and focus for Larry. His strong professional leadership role transfers to community service through intern architect mentoring, serving on several architectural/urban design panels and fulfilling an academic examiner role for the RAIC Syllabus professional program. He has delivered 3 LEED Gold and 4 LEED Silver certified projects and many that ‘shadowed’ the LEED process to achieve environmental accountability without the cost of the registration process. His work has garnered over 35 professional and industrial design awards.

Larry is a passionate advocate for design quality on behalf of his clients and the public commonwealth and he is dedicated to an accountable client service.

Curtis plays an active role in each project being the Senior Designer along with the Project Manager. Curtis’ attention to detail and focus on coordination with all disciplines part of the Krahn Group of Companies further ensures a successful project from start to finish for all clients who work with him.
